Sligo University Hospital are reducing the number of face to face outpatient appointments.
A number of virtual clinics will take place with patients receiving a letter if they are booked in for one.
While a small number of in hospital appointments will take lace with patients being advised by letter.
People are also being reminded that anyone who develops Covid-19 symptoms before their appointment should not attend.
All face to face outpatient appointments were previously deferred for two weeks at the beginning of January due to the ongoing pandemic.
