Sligo University Hospital remains the third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, despite a decrease on yesterday’s figures.
According to the latest INMO trolley watch report, there were 55 admitted patients waiting for a bed in SUH this morning, 6 less than on Tuesday.
The hospital is only behind Cork University Hospital with 57, and University Hospital Limerick with 112.
Elsewhere in the North West, Letterkenny University Hospital has 33 patients awaiting a bed earlier today.
