Sligo University Hospital is among the most overcrowded facilities in Ireland today.
According to the latest figures from the INMO Trolley Watch report, there were 42 admitted patients waiting for a bed this morning.
SUH was only behind Cork University Hospital on 81, and University Hospital Limerick with 110.
Meanwhile, Letterkenny University Hospital had 8 patients on trolleys earlier today.
Of the 567 nationally, 401 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 166 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
