Sligo University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
According to the most recent Trolley Watch figures from the INMO, there were 57 people awaiting admission there this morning.
Sligo was second only to University Hospital Limerick, where there are 106 people on trolleys today.
There are a further 14 waiting for a bed in Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, bringing the total figure for the North West to 71.

Nationwide, the numbers lie at 459.
