Sligo University Hospital third most overcrowded in Ireland

Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today.

A total of 37 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals.

21 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 16 were waiting at Letterkenny.

Limerick was the worst hit today with 94 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 308 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
