Sligo's Summer Festival saw record crowds over the weekend.
It's been deemed one of the countries cheapest festivals and organisers say they are proud of the great value of a €3 per day entry fee which has gained national headlines in the last week.
The festival which was extended to 4 days and nights this year had an impressive line-up including country music legend Mike Denver last night.
Finbarr Filan, Chairperson of Sligo's Business Improvement District says the price has always been based on attracting families to the event:

Meanwhile, Gardai say there were just three arrests in the Stephen Street area over the weekend.
The arrests were alcohol-related.
Gardai say it's a low number of incidents considering the number of people in the town over the weekend.
