Voter turnout is reportedly steady across polling stations in the North West this lunchtime.
A snapshot of how things are going in this area include a 16 - 17% turnout in Drumkeeran.
There has been a big turnout so far today in the Ballymote Tubbercurry Municipal District. The turnout has been about 26% this lunch time.
Areas with a notably high turnout so far today include 32% in Dromore West and 28% in Beltra.
Turnout is reportedly quite high in Sligo-Strandhill with 12% turnout in Carton and around 15% in the Ballyshannon area.
It's expected voting will peak in the area between 6pm-8pm this evening.
