Social media Campaign aims to promote Sligo

A social media campaign aimed at promoting Sligo as positive location will be running on social media today.

#Love Sligo is taking place mainly on twitter and the organisers of the event are encouraging to share positive stories they have when it comes to Sligo.

Val Robus is coordinating the campaign she says there is currently a lot of negativity in the local region after recent tragic events.
