Sligo University Hospital have confirmed the cancellation of a number of services today in light of the ransomware attack on the HSE's computer network system.
All outpatient x-ray, CT, MRI and Ophthalmic outpatient appointments and procedures are cancelled today.
Other outpatient appointments, chemotherapy treatments, maternity appointments and dialysis treatments are continuing as normal with people encouraged to attend at their scheduled time.
Patients are being warned to expect delays in all clinics and in the Emergency Department today as a paper based system is in use.
