South Donegal company gets green light for major extension

A company in south Donegal has been given the green light for a major extension.

Errigal Bay Ltd had lodged plans last year to extend its operations at its site in Carrick.

The new building could result in more jobs for the local area with the company already employing over 200 people.

The proposed new extension is expected to be used for the production of plant based products.

Errigal back signed a €4m deal with Lidl Ireland in 2020 which sees the company's products on Lidl shelves in seven European countries.
