A special multi-cultural concert will take place later this evening in Carrick-on-Shannon to raise funds for the Ukraine.
The concert will take place in St Mary’s church in Carrick-on-Shannon and will feature local choirs, singers and musicians.
Tonight’s event will be hosted by Carole Coleman and Leitrim Councillor and GAA Chairperson Enda Stenson.
There will also be performances on the night by Ukrainian artists that are now living in Leitrim.
Joe Lowe is a member of the Leitrim Male choir he is one of the event coordinators .
Speaking earlier to OceanFM news he outlined how tonight’s event is being staged to help Ukrainian refuges that have recently arrived in Leitrim.
