Speed control needed on N59 says Independent Councillor

Speed Limits on some Sligo roads need to be reconsidered to make roads safer.

That is the view of Sligo councillor Michael Clarke who raised the motion at Sligo County Council to look at speed limits along the N59 at Ballysodare, Dromore West, Corballa and Skreen & Dromard community center.

These locations are currently dangerous and the council needs to look at speed control along the road according to the Independent councillor
