A motorist has been caught speeding and without insurance in the Donegal Town area.
Gardai detected a vehicle travelling at 102kph in an 80km zone yesterday evening.

It was then established that the driver did not have valid insurance.
Gardai say that the vehicle was seized and that proceedings will now commence.
