Status yellow wind warnings issued for north west

New weather warnings have been issued for counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.

The Status Yellow warning for wind will take effect from 6am on Sunday morning for Sligo.

While it will take effect in Leitrim and Donegal from 11am.

All three warnings will last until 6pm on Sunday evening.

Met Éireann is warning of further damage to already weakened structures and trees.

While motorists are being advised of dangerous travelling conditions.
