A severe weather warning has been extended for the North West.
A status yellow wind warning was initially issued for counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal until 9pm today.

However Storm Darragh will be arriving on Friday night with an upgraded Orange warning, and may run until 9am Saturday morning.
People are asked to be careful in relation to fallen trees, damage to power lines and other potential hazards that may result as a consequence on strong winds.
