Storm Elin continues to wreak havoc across the north west.
There are numerous reports of trees and other debris blocking or partially blocking routes.
The Tawley Road out of Kinlough is currently closed at the mass rock due to a tree down blocking the road.
In Sligo, there is a tree down at Lissadell, on the Carney to Lissadell Road.
Motorists are asked to drive with extra care and please slow down to allow our work safely.
The Gibraltar Road in Sligo is currently closed due to wave overtopping.
Crews are currently at the scene to close the route and diversions are in place via the First Sea Road and motorists are being asked to seek alternative routes.
Gardai have confirmed that the road is to remain closed for a considerable time.
A status orange wind warning is currently in effect in Donegal until 6pm.
Met Éireann says Storm Elin will generate gale force west to northwest winds and severe gusts.
Motorists are advised to expect disruption and difficult travelling difficulties, with the potential too for wave overtoppping.
