Storm Éowyn: Many routes impacted across North West

Below is a list of routes impacted by Storm Éowyn, it will be updated throughout the day.

Roads staff are not clearing any trees for the duration of the Status Red weather warning, and until it is safe to do so.
The public are advised to stay indoors for the duration of the storm.

Sligo:

Scaffolding down in Easkey village across the road

Wires down on Bugeen Road at Churchview in Collooney and is impassable

No power in Rathcormack, Large trees down and wires hanging down on the Drum Road

Trees down on the Gurteen to Ballymote Road

Tree down at Tawley beside Mass Rock

Tree down covering half the road in Drumcliffe Village. Passable

Sligo to Ballina Road blocked at AJ's

The old Sligo road is blocked at Castelbaldwin

The Boyle to Ballymote Road is blocked due to fallen trees

The security hut at the entrance to the Caravan Park in Strandhill has been blown over

The N59 is completely blocked with a large tree that has fallen.  It's near the turn off for Coolaney

Esb pole broken and hanging by the wires out across the road from Creevykeel to Mullaghmore

Ballina road between Collerys shop and Beltra post office all very dangerous with a number of trees down

Number of trees down between Ballymote and Tubbercurry

Tree down on the Coola side of Riverstown, road blocked

Tree down on the second Sea Road, not passable

A large tree down and across the L3602 with an ESB Power line under the tree half way between the NCT centre and Jinks Cross

Avoid the steps footpath and left lane of John Street behind the Cathedral, roots have lifted from a tree

You cannot exit Tubbercurry

Tree down at St. Joseph's Church, Ballytivnan,  the road is blocked

Tree down at Bertie's Pitch and Putt on the N15 ,  the road is not passable

Lissadell is blocked at the first gatehouse

There's a tree down and a low hanging wire on the Strandhill Road.

Tree down on the N59 on the Skreen side of Dromore West. Road is impassable.

Wires down on the N59 approaching Ballisodare.

Tree down on the R297 Enniscrone.

There is a tree down on the N16 between Ballytivnan and Doonaly. The road is passable with care.

Chapel Street in Sligo town has been closed as a precautionary measure due to possible lose slates. Pedestrians are advised to use alternative routes also.

Shore Road and Promenade in Strandhill have been closed as is Gibraltar at First Sea Road.

Pier in Enniscrone closed.

The Sea Front Road at Easkey down by Easkey Castle is also closed.

Donegal:

Spanish Church Road to Kilcar to Rock at Cuskerry is blocked

Tree down at the 5 points Ardara to Killybegs Road

Tree down blocking the road at Coolshannon in Inver

The Bruckless to Benroe road is blocked with a fallen tree

The Pettigo Road/R232 is blocked by fallen trees in multiple locations

Trees down on the Ardaghey to Ardara Road

Tree down from Donegal Town to Drimarone

Tree down at Ben's Topline

ESB cables down on the Killybegs Road at Herron Auto

Tree down at the Rock Ballyshannon beside Fr. Tierney Park

Tree down on the Bundoran side of Lennox Bridge

Tree down into Frosses Village on the Donegal side

ESB wire down at Lower Glencoagh, Mountcharles.  The road is not passable

The Donegal Town Pier Car Park will be closed until 7pm this evening.

Tree down on the Ballyshannon to Belleek Road

Harry Blaney Bridge Closed

Harry Blaney Bridge is closed until 5pm today.

N14 Lifford to Letterkenny Rd. is impassable at Feddyglass (Ballinalecky to Whitecross) due to trees down. Motorists should seek alternative routes for essential travel.

Leitrim

N16 is blocked between Glenfarne and Manorhamilton at Lisnagroagh above the big bog

A number of trees down between Glenfarne and Manorhamilton

Dowra to Drumshanbo road blocked near the football pitch

The road entering Drumshanbo from the Dreumkeerin side is blocked at an area known locally as Johnny Wynnes

ESB Pole broke up  at Kilavoggy in Dromahair
