Bus Eireann has announced that it will be suspending services in Mayo and Galway from 4pm until the end of the day, ahead of their red wind warning coming into effect.
Services in Donegal will also be suspended during the red warning from 9pm to 1am.

Met Eireann is warning of extremely strong and gusty southwest winds with severe and destructive gusts, with the potential for dangerous coastal conditions with high waves, treacherous travelling conditions, and the risk of significant and widespread power outages.
