Donegal County Council is urging members of the public to take extra care as Storm Isha approaches.
The Status Orange wind warning affecting the rest of the country will persist for a further 3 hours in Donegal, until 5am on Monday.
It also has a Status Red Marine warning in place from 7pm this evening for coastal winds reaching storm force 10 or a violent storm force 11.
The Council says it's expecting large waves along coastal paths, loose debris, difficult driving conditions, fallen trees and possible power outages.
