Strong winds overnight are expected to gradually decrease this morning and during today.
Gusts reached up to 90 to 100 kilometres in places last night.
The Road Safety Authority is still urging motorists, as well as pedestrians, cyclists and motorsyclists, to be cautious when out and about.
A wind warning remains in place until 3 o clock this afternoon.
