Engineers Ireland is calling on engineering firms, companies big and small, libraries, the local authority and schools and colleges across the north west to get involved in Engineers Week 2019, a seven-day programme of nationwide events celebrating the world of engineering in Ireland.
Engineers week will run from March 2nd to 8th and is coordinated on a national basis by Engineers Ireland's STEPS programme.
Damien Ownes is registrar with Engineers Ireland.
He outlined to Ocean FM that pressuring a career in engineering can be rewarding.
