A substantial quantity of cannabis has been seized by Gardai in Sligo.
As part of Operation Tara, the Sligo/Leitrim Divisional Drugs Unit assisted by local Detectives and the Garda Dog Unit conducted a number of searches of properties in the Sligo area in recent days.
The exact quantity of drugs has not been disclosed by Gardai.
Gardai say that investigations are currently ongoing.
