Successful night for Ocean FM at IMRO Radio Awards

Ocean FM enjoyed another successful night at the 2024 IMRO Radio Awards.

The local station for the counties of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal was awarded two golds, two silver and one bronze.

Sports Editor Austin O’Callaghan won gold in the Sports Broadcaster of the Year (Local/ Regional category) while Dónal Ryan won bronze in the same category.

Niall Delaney’s documentary ‘Chuck Berry, in a field, in Ballisodare’ also won gold.

Silver awards were also awarded to North West Today for Current Affairs Programme (Local/ Regional) and in the Sports Programme Of The Year (Local/ Regional) category for the Final Whistle.
