Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today.
There were 45 people awaiting admission there this morning according to the latest trolley watch report – a drop of 11 on yesterday’s figure of 56.
Nationally, there were 600 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
