A recent survey carried out by Standard Life Retirement Pulse has shown that up to 93% people in Connacht-Ulster have indicated that they are enjoying happiness throughout their retirement.
The survey also found over two-fifths (44%) said they are financially ready for retirement while nearly two-thirds (64%) of those in Connacht/Ulster say they are mentally prepared for retirement.
Standard Life's Retirement Pulse is a nationally representative survey of 1000 people in Ireland conducted on a quarterly basis and explores retirement attitudes, behaviours and experiences of people in Ireland.
