The Taoiseach insists the designation of Sligo and Letterkenny as growth centres is significant.
Sligo was designated a regional growth centre but so too was Letterkenny, Athlone and Dundalk.
Speaking to Ocean FM, the Taoiseach said the move will benefit not just Sligo and Donegal but the whole county and region:
