Both the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste are facing calls to hold an emergency meeting with the Ballymote - Tubbercurry MD over the proposed N17 Knock to Collooney and N59 projects.
Frustration is said to be growing among some residents over whether or not their lands or houses will be definitely impacted in the final plans.

Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Cllr Michael Clarke says the goal posts keep changing that is totally unfair to the many people who could be potentially affected.
He believes that there's an onus on the Government to provide clarity as a matter of urgency:
