Taoiseach to raise pain clinic at Sligo hospital with Health Minister

The Taoiseach is set to raise the issue of the pain clinic at Sligo University Hospital with Health Minister Stephen Donnelly.

Michael Martin was responding to questions from Sligo Leitrim TD Marian Harkin who called for the full restoration of the pain clinic at Sligo University Hospital.

The service at the hospital has not been fully restored since the pandemic.

In some cases, patients are waiting 24 months for treatment while the some of the facilities have been deemed inadequate.

Deputy Harkin insisted that the matter must be resolved:
