The Taoiseach is calling on TG4 to sit down with victims' families of the Creeslough tragedy to discuss an upcoming controversial documentary.
The programme on the disaster is due to air tonight, however some people directly affected are said to be deeply distraught and have contacted TG4, requesting not to broadcast the documentary.
Leo Varadkar was responding to questions from Donegal Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty who backed the belief that the programme should not be aired until such time as the Garda investigation has concluded.
The Taoiseach says while he would be reluctant to tell a broadcaster what to do, he would hope that TG4 would consult with families in the first instance:
