Tax bills for those on Pandemic Unemployment Payment

A local TD is encouraging people on the Pandemic Unemployment Payment to sign up for a Revenue account.

Independent TD, Marian Harkin says if you are in receipt of the €350 per week payment, you will be liable to pay tax next year.

Those on less than this per week will not have a tax bill according to the Sligo/Leitrim TD.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy Harkin says if you return to work, it's important your employer is aware you were in receipt of the PUP.
