TDs under pressure over upcoming enhanced Mica Scheme

Some TDs are under increasing pressure to stand over promises made as it relates to campaigning for a 100% Mica Redress Scheme.

Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien is set to bring the legislation for the scheme to Cabinet this day week.
It is expected that the legislation will provide remediation of up to €420,000 for affected homes.

There have been ongoing calls for a pre-legislative scrutiny of the scheme to take place.

PRO of the Mica Action Group Michael Doherty says this is the last chance to get the scheme right and its incumbent on TDs to ensure that happens:
