There are calls on all homeowners in the North West and further afield who may be affected by Mica to put pressure on their local TDs to ensure the upcoming enhanced scheme is fit for purpose.
The Mica Bill is now expected to be brought before Cabinet on June 7th while it's understood that a planned Leaders meeting last week to discuss details of the scheme was postponed.
There's ongoing concern among homeowners surrounding an apparent lack of willingness by Government to carry out a pre-legislative scrutiny of the scheme.
Taking to social media, PRO of the Mica Action Group Michael Doherty also encouraged people to sign a petition, calling for the scheme to be scrutinised:
