Now you may say it is too early to start thinking about Christmas but not for the volunteers and people involved with Team Hope.
To celebrate their 10th annual anniversary, Team Hope Christmas Shoe box Appeal Sligo are encouraging families, friends, schools and the community to deliver a record breaking 280,000 gift filled shoe boxes to children affected by poverty.
They are encouraging people to donate gifts such as pencils, colouring books, toothbrushes, clothes and small Irish gifts.
With these boxes to benefit a multitude of children from Romania to Burundi, Jennifer Irwin, Team Hope's Sligo Volunteer explains what it means to receive one of these shoe box's
