Thousands hit by water outage in south Donegal as repair efforts continue

Residents in Bundoran and the surrounding area are being warmed that they may be without water until late afternoon.

A major burst to the main line means that a large number of homes and businesses have been impacted.

The line also serves premises in parts of Ballyshannon.

It's thought that thousands of people are affected.

Repair crews are currently on site but it's estimated that the situation won't be resolved until later today.
