Thousands in north west remain without power

Thousands of homes, businesses and farms across the north west are still without power following Storm Éowyn.

In Donegal Town, over two thousand premises in and around the town are without power.

Similarly in Mountcharles, Inver, Killybegs, Kilcar and Glencolmcille power is yet to be restored.

Areas of north Leitrim are still impacted.

These include Glenade, Kiltyclogher and areas of Manorhamilton.

Large areas of South and west Sligo continue to be in the dark.

Ballymote, Tubbercurry, Dromore West and Skreen are among the areas affected.

The estimated restoration time for the areas varies.
