Thousands of homes across the north west remain without power this morning.
Heavy showers of rain, as well as strong gusts of wind from Storm Darragh resulted in lots of power cuts across the region on Friday night and Saturday morning.
The ESB have apologised for the loss of supply and are currently working to restore power in the areas affected.
Weather warnings have been lifted by Met Éireann, however motorists are still being advised to take care on the roads because of heavy overnight rain and the risk of damage caused by fallen trees, branches and other debris..
