A thunderstorm warning has been issued for the North West.
Met Eireann is forecasting scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with localised downpours leading to poor driving conditions.

The alert is valid until 9pm tonight.
Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Roscommon, Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath have all been issued with the warning.
