Tributes paid to late Cavan Councillor Sean Smith

Tributes have been paid to the Cavan Councillor Sean Smith.

Sean was first elected to Cavan County Council in 1979. And served as Cathaoirleach on two separate occasions

Sean, a brother of the Fianna Fáil TD Brendan Smith, also served on the Northern & Western Regional Assembly and most recently on the Cavan/Monaghan ETB and was strong advocate on agricultural issues.

Cavan Councillor John Paul Feeley says the late Sean Smith was a hugely dedicated public representative:
