A demonstration that was due to be held in Collooney has been cancelled.
Organised by the new 'Safe Crossing Collooney' group with the aim of getting a footbridge erected along the N4 at Collooney.
A demonstration was due to be held at 12 noon today but has since been cancelled.
The group was setup in response to a number of safety concerns for pedestrians.

Local SInn Fein Councillor, Thomas Healy, who is one of the organisers, say it will be rescheduled for a later date.
