An Oireachtas Committee has heard travellers are excluded and isolated from the beginning of their school lives.
A group representing the community has called for 'solidarity' at cabinet level when it comes to tackling mental health.

Jamie Murphy from the Sligo Traveller Support says that unfortunately traveller discrimination often starts in schools and continues to impact on younger members of the travelling community.
