Tributes are pouring in for Fianna Fail Cllr Rosaleen O’Grady who announced her imminent departure from local politics earlier today.
The Sligo/Strandhill Cllr has described her career in local politics as a 'wonderful privilege'.
She confirmed this morning that she's stepping down and will not be contesting the forthcoming local elections in June.
Elected to the council first in 1999, Cllr O'Grady leaves behind a 25 year legacy.
