Almost 300 people are on hospital trolleys today according to nurses.
The latest trolleywatch report shows Wexford and Limerick hospitals are the most overcrowded with 26 people waiting on a bed.
The INMO says 277 patients are in EDs and overflow areas of wards across the country.
There are 8 people on trolleys at Letterkenny and Sligo University Hospitals respectively today according to the figures.
