Tubbercurry Tidy Towns have hit out at some dog owners for leaving their pick up bags in nooks and doorways around the town.
In a statement, the group has questioned the logic of going to the trouble of picking up the dog mess, only to litter it in the bag afterwards.
They also say that this is happening on a regular basis and following several complaints, they have now sent a report to the litter and enforcement department of Sligo County Council.
