Tullaghan Coastal Cross wins All-Ireland trophy

It's hoped that a first All-Ireland trophy for Tullaghan will put the area on the map.

Tullaghan Coastal Cross picked up the award in Killarney this week for Islands and Coastal communities pride of place by Corporation Ireland.

Secretary Louise Collins has been talking to Ocean fm news this week - she says a lot work has been undertaken by the local community and that they're delighted with the accolade.

Ms. Collins is also hopeful the national recognition will help to promote tourism for the area:
