A Sligo businessman has come up with an idea to boost tourism in the town.
Fergal Quinn says there's a need for more two-star or self-catering accommodation in the area.
And he says the space is there in which it could be provided -- by converting vacant offices.
Fergal has seen the need for such accommodation, having run a number of businesses in Sligo with his brother, Kevin.
He says one of those businesses, HenandStagSligo.ie, has lost a significant amount of group bookings as a result of the lack of such accommodation.
He says converting vacant office space in Sligo into self-catering accommodation would bring people right into the town centre.
