Two boys raise €17,000 for Mayo Roscommon Hospice

Two boys from Achill have raised over 17,000 euro for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation with a tractor run.

Tiernan Moyles and Shane Gallagher, who are both 14, had originally hoped to raise 500 euro.

The Foundation says the boys were keen to raise money after the death of Tiernan's great-uncle John and Shane's grandfather Vincent.

Almost 100 tractors, trucks and cars took place in the run back in December.
