Two people have been injured in what's believed to be gas explosion at a restaurant in Mayo.
It happened at an Indian restaurant on Lower Charles Street in Castlebar at about 8.30 last night.
The two people injured are understood to be staff, and are being treated for non life-threatening injuries at Mayo University Hospital.
Some residents in the area reported hearing a loud blast from the explosion which damaged the roof of the premises.

The street remains closed to traffic this morning.
