Two men are currently being detained by gardai following the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in north Leitrim.
Manorhamilton gardai, supported by gardai from the Armed Support Unit in Ballyshannon, made the discovery after they searched a rented property in Rossinver shortly after 10 o'clock last night.
The found a growhouse with lighting and ventilation systems.
They also found 40 mature cannabis plants and a large number of plants in the early stage of growth, as well as a quantity of cannabis herb.

The estimated value of the find is about €60,000.
The two men detained are aged 22 and 49.
They are being held in Ballyshannon under the Drug Trafficking Act.
