Two men due in court over major cannabis seizure in Belturbet

Two men are due in court today over a major cannabis seizure in Belturbet earlier this week.

Gardai seized cannabis worth €334,000 following the search of a grow house in the town on Wednesday.

The seized drugs have been sent for further analysis.

Two men in their 30s were arrested in connection and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in the North Western region.

They have since been charged and are due to appear before Cavan District Court this morning.
