Two men who were arrested following an armed robbery in Donegal have been released without charge.
The incident happened at a premises in Rathmullan at around 7pm on Thursday evening.
One man entered the premises armed with a knife and threatened staff and subsequently made off with a large sum of cash.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
In a follow up search, Gardaí arrested two men both aged in their 20s) and recovered the money and weapon.
The men were questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a local Garda station.
The two men have since been released without charge and a file is to be sent to the DPP.
